Child from Nablus has surgery in Charlotte

Anas1On August 1, 2009 3-year-old Anas Lolah arrived with his mother Aesha in North Carolina for urological surgery to repair a birth defect at the Presbyterian Hospital. The operation was performed by Dr. John Gazak, a pediatric urologist who recently completed a mission to the West Bank through the PCRF, in cooperation with International Volunteers in Urology (IVU). Anas is from the West Bank town of Nablus and could not be treated by PCRF missions going to Palestine, and there are no pediatric urologists in the West Bank. Anas and his mother are being cared for by volunteers in the Charlotte community.
