Chilean orthopedic mission completes week in Jericho

On November 12, a 3-member team of doctors from Chile completed a week of surgery at the New Jericho Hospital in the West Bank. The team was from the Hospital Clínico San Borja Arriarán at the Instituto Nacional de Rehabilitación Pedro Aguirre Cerda and was led by surgeon Dr. Yerko Cuevas. The two other team members were Dr. Victor San Martín and Dr. Johnny Yañez. The operated on several children from all over the West Bank with orthopedic deformities. The PCRF has been working with several different teams from Chile over the past two years in orthopedics, pediatric surgery, urology and plastic surgery.
