Iraqi girl has surgery in Arkansas

christineOn January 24, 5-year-old Christine Makboob from Nineveh, Iraq had neurosurgery at Arkansas Children’s Hospital by Dr. Samer Elbabaa. This child was born with a spine deformity called tethered cord, which was causing her significant neurological disorders including incontinence and she could not be adequately treated in her war-torn country. Dr. Elbabaa helped to arrange her care with the PCRF, and volunteered on a surgery mission to Palestine back in early December. The child traveled with her mother Dina a week ago to Little Rock. The PCRF helps children from all over the Middle East based on their medical needs. We do not discriminate based on nationality, religion, ethnicity or race.
