PCRF EmbroideryThe embroidery available was created as part of the PCRF’s Women’s Empowerment Project. The Women’s Empowerment Project was created in 2001 in order to assist poor Palestinian refugee women with large families and no income by providing them with one-time start-up business grants. In August 2003, the PCRF launched two new Women’s Empowerment Projects in Lebanon, providing 35 women an opportunity to create income through various sewing and embroidery projects.
