Who We AreThe DC Chapter represents a diverse group of Arabs, Americans, and Arab-Americans committed to making a difference in the lives of Palestinian children who are in need of life-saving medical care, but are unable to receive it in their area due to economic and access limitations. The PCRF-DC Chapter is proud to note that, in addition to its original Chapter members, it is continually gaining the support of local individuals, organizations, and corporate sponsors who are also committed to sharing their resources to help improve the lives and well being of children in need.
Through fundraising activities and donations from the local Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC communities, the PCRF-DC focuses its efforts on sponsoring more Palestinian children and providing them with medical treatment in the Washington, DC and surrounding areas. In support of this primary objective, the PCRF-DC also strives to build relationships with the local medical and business communities, promote public awareness of the PCRF and its efforts through educational and media outreach, and maintain a network of host volunteers and families who are able to provide a support system for children visiting the area to receive medical attention.
