Efforts
On April 6th and 7th,
under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan
Mubarak Al Nahayan and the cooperation of the UAE Red
Crescent, the PCRF Abu Dhabi coordinated two separate
functions in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Both events, which
featured the Palestine-based El Funoun Popular Dance
Troupe, (www.el-funoun.org)
were met with overwhelming success. Founded in 1979,
the dance troupe from El Bireh, Palestine is widely
recognized for its role in reviving indigenous folklore
dance and music. The funds raised from these events
will go towards treating children in Palestine and Lebanon,
particularly burned children in the West Bank. Click
