Mohammad
Sholi
On
August 1, 12-year-old Mohammed Sholi from the West Bank town
of Nablus came to Washington, DC for neurosurgery at Providence
Hospital. Mohammed suffered a serious cranial injury during
an accident and lost much of the bone covering the front part
of his skull. Surgeons at Providence, led by neurosurgeon
Dr. Saied Jamshidi, donated their time and services to perform
a cranioplasty to cover the cranial defect. The surgery was
a great success and Mohammed fully recovered. Mohammed's medical
treatment and stay in DC was coordinated and organized by
the PCRF-DC Committee. The Committee wishes to extend its
greatest thanks to Dr. Jamshidi for lending his expertise
to help a Palestinian child in need, and to Providence Hospital
for accepting this case on a charity basis.
