Spanish Team Returns to Lebanon to Treat Refugees

This week, a five-member team of doctors and nurses from Spain returned on their third mission with the PCRF to provide orthopedic care for refugee children at Safad Hospital in the Badawi refugee camp in Tripoli. Led by surgeon Dr. Rosa Jo’dar Graus and Dr. Jose’ Antonio Certucha Barragan, and including anesthesiologist Dr. Maria Jose’ Garcia Sanchez, and OR nurses Maria Encarancion Mochon Martin and Maria Antnia Lo’pez Moreno, the team come from Virgen de las Nieves Hospital in Granada. Dr. Jose’ Antonio Certucha Barragan work at a public hospital in Madrid. The PCRF is working with the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Lebanon to host the surgery mission at Safad Hospital and will open the team to treat any refugee child in Lebanon - Syrian or Palestinian - regardless of their religion or any other factor.
