American team treats special-needs children in Tulkarem

In the last week of December, a three-member team from the USA treated forty-seven children in Tulkarem in the north-west West Bank.  Dentists Dr. Bilal Siab from North Carolina and Dr. Sahar Alrayyas from Chicago returned again through the PCRF to provide expert volunteer oral care for mostly children with special needs at both the government Thabet Thabet Hospital and the Zakat Hospital in Tulkarem.  Assisting on the mission was Sarah Alrayyas from Chicago, and local Qalqilya dentist Suad Samara, who volunteered her services to the PCRF.  Most of these children do not get adequate care locally due to their physical or mental handicaps, and hundreds of children have had expert dental care over the past few years by these PCRF missions.
