Burned Gazan Girl Returns to Boston for Surgery

11-year-old Abrar Allaham from Khan Younis in the southern Gaza sustained excessive burn injuries over most her body in 2007 and had surgery through the PCRF at the Shriners Hospital for Burned Children in Boston four years ago. Last month she traveled back to Boston where she has been undergoing the second phase of her treatment to continue to reconstruct her injuries. She is expected to undergo one final round of surgery later this month before she is cleared to return to her family. She is being cared for by volunteers in the PCRF Boston chapter.
