Burned Girl On Her Way Home Following Surgery
Burned Girl On Her Way Home Following Surgery

11-year-old Tarteel is returning home to her West Bank town of Hebron this week after spending six months under treatment for burns by Dr. Hugh Vu at the Sacramento Shriners Hospital in California. The PCRF has sent the girl there three times for treatment with her mother after she suffered 3rd-degree burns on her body in a home accident. The girl was cared for by volunteers in our Bay Area PCRF chapter and volunteers in the Sacramento area. The PCRF is the main nonprofit organization in the world providing free care abroad for Arab children who cannot be treated locally like Tarteel, regardless of their nationality or religion.
