This week, Dr. Sahar Al Rayyes, a pediatric dental surgeon from Chicago, returned to Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip to provide dental surgeries for needy children. Dr. Sahar has been volunteering for more than ten years with the PCRF and she has conducted dozens of surgeries and hundreds of screening for handicapped children, cancer patients, sick and poor children who are unable cover of cost of treatment. She last volunteered in late December at the Huda Al Masri Pediatric Cancer Department in Beit Jala Hospital. Dr. Sahar is also a very active member of the PCRF Chicago chapter.
