Gaza Girl Returns Home Walking After Treatment in Dallas

After nearly two months of orthopedic treatment at the Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, four-year-old Marah from Gaza is on her way back home with her mother walking with her new prosthetic legs. Marah suffered from a congenital deformity in both her legs and two years ago she traveled to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas through the PCRF, where she underwent surgery to both her legs and was fitted with prosthetic legs. Over the last two years she outgrew her original prosthetics and returned to Dallas where she was fitted with a brand new customized pair. Marah and her mom were being hosted by our PCRF Dallas Chapter.
