Gazan Boy Arrives in Philadelphia for Surgery

This week thirteen-year-old Abdallah from the Khan Younis refugee camp in Gaza arrived in Philadelphia for surgery and to have a new leg built for him. Abdallah was born with a deformity of his right hip and femur that prevents him from walking. He will have surgical care at The Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, who have accepted several children from Palestine over the past ten years through the PCRF. PCRF is grateful to our Philadelphia chapter who are currently hosting both Abdallah, as well as another child currently. We are the main charity bringing children from the Middle East for free care in the USA.
