Pediatric Cardiologist
Sent to Ramallah Hospital
In August, 2001, the PCRF sent Dr.
Zahid Amin, a pediatric cardiologist from Omaha
Children's Hospital, to Ramallah Hosptial in the West
Bank to provide lifesaving invasive cardiac treatment and
crucial diagnosis and screenings for sick Palestinian babies
with congenital heart disease. Working for a week, Dr. Amin
prepared accurate diagnosis' on many sick children for the
Cardiostart Mission that followed
his trip, in addition to treating many sick children in the
