Sending Volunteer Surgery Teams to Palestine

English Team, March 2000

In March, the PCRF sent a four-member pediatric cardiac surgery team to Ramallah Hospital to do lifesaving open-heart surgery on sick children in need of treatment not available to them there. Led by surgeon Dr. B. Sethia, who worked in Palestine in 1999, and cardiologist Dr. Jonathan Wright, the team treated several children over a five day period.
