Following an appeal by the PCRF to sponsor the open-heart surgery for 10-month-old Mustafa Hasanein, a Palestinian refugee from Al Bass camp inTyre, an urgent open-heart surgery was done at the American University of Beirut Medical Center by Dr. Issam Al Rassi. We are happy to announce that Mustafa is so far doing well in the ICU and we want to thank our donors for coming forward to respond in three days to raise the money needed for this complicated procedure. We were happy to cooperate with the Brave Heart Fund, UNRWA, Palestinian Security Fund and Health Care Society to cover his operation.
