PCRF Joins Regional Meeting for Helping Refugee Kids with Cancer

This week, the PCRF is joining St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital from Memphis, Tennessee, the American University of Beirut Medical Center and the King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman, Jordan to form a task force to care for refugee and displaced children with cancer from Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Yemen, and the region. The PCRF was represented by our volunteer, Dr. Zeena Salman, a pediatric oncologist trained at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and helping to oversee the development of our Huda Al Masri Pediatric Cancer Department in Beit Jala and the Dr. Musa and Suhaila Nasir Gaza Pediatric Cancer Department.
