This week, a nineteen-member team of surgeons, doctors, therapists, and nurses from the USA visits the West Bank town of Nablus for the first time to provide care and treatment for children with orthopedic disorders. Led by orthopedic surgeon Dr. Richard Gosselin, the team examined over 120 cases and performed surgeries to about 50 children as well as providing them with physical therapy sessions by therapist Sam Dutrow. The team is caring for patients who otherwise do not have easy access to specialized treatment.
