P.C.R.F. SAN DIEGO COMMITTEE
AN OVERVIEW OF THE SAN DIEGO COMMITTEE:

The San Diego Committee of the PCRF started through the initiation of Hiam Khaireddin who established the Chapter
and with the other members has worked hard to help raise funds. The member's personal interest and care for the children
later developed into a circle of friends helping to accomplish an important
goal of treating injured Arab children from the Middle East locally in Southern
California. The chapter today consists of four active members who distribute
responsibilities.
The members of this chapter cooperate with each other by taking turns in hosting a child,
taking the child to doctor appointments, surgeries, arranging visits to the hospital, and meeting the
media. They also relieve the host family at times while they take the child to visit places in San Diego
and shop for medications and other needs. |

| Through the tremendous efforts of these members, the San Diego Chapter has gained a lot of respect and support from the Arab community
contributing to the success of the Chapter.
The main goal of the committee is to raise funds necessary to assist the
PCRF in its humanitarian relief efforts.
The committee has raised money locally through:
- Annual Fundraising Dinner
- An Annual Bake Sale
- Picnics and Garage Sale

Presented to The Palestine Children's Relief Fund.

So far, The San Diego chapter has hosted six injured Arab children who have come for
treatment. They include:
The SD committee is in need of local host families to assist in housing the treated
children and of establishing a list of care takers to relieve the host families during
the duration of an injured who may be arriving to our area in the future. For more
