Summer Camp for Children in the Northern West Bank starts

This week, the Alhorrya Summer Camp began for nearly 100 children in Alaqaba village in the northern West Bank. The camp include ten disabled children. The PCRF is partnering with the Aqapa village council to support the camp. Children in this village live in the very neglected Jordan Valley "Area C" and are not able to have direct access to the services of Palestinian Authority, so they all endure different forms of psychological stress. The daily activities in the camp hope to reduce this stress and include a variety of cultural, social and educational activities to help support the psychological needs of these children suffering from life under occupation and to help integrate children with special needs and to break down barriers for them within Palestinian society.
