Syrian Refugee Provided Life-Saving Heart Procedure

Five-year-old Abdulrhman Alhariri, a Syrian residing in Zaatari refugee camp is a known case of heart disease that runs through his family. Five years ago two of his sisters died because of the same congenital cardiac disease . This week the PCRF sponsored for Abdulrhman defibrillator implantation at Khaldi Hospital by Dr. Muneer Zaqa. This device will prevent a sudden death incident like which killed his sisters. His treatment was arranged through the Syrian Children's Relief Project in which we are identifying refugees in need of care and providing it, regardless of politics, religion or race.
