Syrian War Victim Undergoes Surgery in Jordan

Odia Qadoor was only six months old when combatants entered his home and murdered his parents leaving him with an injured left foot. Odia is now five-years-old living with his grandmother in Mafraq Jordan, suffering from growth impairment with a deformity of the affected limb. Through our Syrian Relief Program, PCRF sponsored a surgery for the boy correcting his deformity with an external fixator, allowing gradual lengthening of the limb. The surgery was done at Irbid Islamic Hospital by Dr. Omar Alshbool. The PCRF helps children regardless of their nationality or religion, based on their basic needs, and hundreds of Syrian refugee children like Odia have been operated on in 2017 through our continued support.
