The new year of 2018 has started with a volunteer orthopedic surgery mission by Dr. Tariq Nayfeh, the Director of the Joint Replacement Center at the MedStar Harbor Hospital Centers for Orthopaedics in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Nayfeh is on his first volunteer mission with the PCRF and operating on patients and teaching local doctors at Rafidiah Hospital in Nablus. In 2017, the PCRF sponsored 150 volunteer surgery missions to the Middle East, providing care for more than 7,500 sick and needy patients. This is by far the most done by any non profit organization in the world to the Middle East.
