This week, an American prosthetic team led by Matthew Morrison and Ramona Okumura volunteered their time by visiting prosthetic centers, seeing and helping to care for patients, and holding a workshop and conference to share their experience and discuss their views on how to develop better prosthetic care, as well as how to overcome some of the obstacles there. Al-Azhar University invited the team to lead a session within the i-CARE Project “Increasing the Conformance of Academia towards Rehabilitation Engineering” workshop, which funded by the European Commission.
