American Surgery Team in Jenin

This week, two general surgeons from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health are volunteering their time to treat patients and train local doctors at the Jenin government hospital. Led by Dr. James Starling, who has been on nine previous volunteer surgery missions to Jenin, Hebron and Beit Jala, and joined by Dr. Kristin Long, the team were operating on complex cancer patients and also training the local team in various surgical procedures. The goal of the PCRF is to always provide training and experience for local doctors to improve the quality of care and support.
