Brazilian Hand Surgery Team Returns to Palestine

This week, a three-member volunteer hand surgery team from Brazil returned to the occupied territories to provide expert surgery on children at Rafidiah Hospital in Nablus, and later moving to the European Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza. Led by surgeon Dr. Rui Ferreira da Silva, who has led several past missions to the Middle East for the PCRF, and including hand surgeon Dr. Giselly Miranda and anesthesiologist Dr. Larissa da Costa, the team are filling significant gaps in the medical system in Palestine, and providing training and support for local doctors.
