Cleft Lip and Palate Surgery Mission Returns to Lebanon

This week, a three-member team are treating refugee children with cleft lip and palate deformities at the Palestine Red Crescent Society Safad Hospital in the Badawi Refugee Camp in Lebanon. Led by South African surgeon Dr. Saleigh Adams and joined by nurse Khadija Adams and anesthesiologist Dr. Abdulrahman Alkhatib.

The team have volunteered for the PCRF in Lebanon in the past and have scheduled 22 children for surgery.

 

 

The PCRF is cooperating with Smile Train to support this type of operation for children in the Middle East and has provided thousands of kids corrective surgery over the past years.
