Egyptian Surgery Team Returns to Jordan to Treat refugees

This week a surgical team from Mansour University Hospital in Egypt returned to Luzmila Hospital in Amman to provide cleft lip and palate operations for Palestinian and Syrian refugee children from different areas of Jordan. The mission is led by pediatric surgeons Dr. Mohammad Sherbini and Professor Adham Al-Said and were joined by local surgeon Dr. Ashraf Al-Bostanji. On the first day, the team screened 47 children and we prepared 21 for surgery. This is the second cleft lip and palate mission this year to Jordan and the 7th medical mission in 2018. These missions are in partnership with Islamic Relief-Switzerland and Islamic relief - EM.
