Australian ophthalmic surgeon Dr. Francis Nathan returned this week to continue to provide sight-saving surgery on patients at Rafidiah Hospital in the West Bank town of Nablus. This is Dr. Nathan's 37th volunteer mission with the PCRF, and he has restored the sight in thousands of Palestinians and Syrian refugees in Palestine an Lebanon. Dr. Nathan is using a new Phaco machine that was provided to Rafidiah Hospital last year by the PCRF, enabling more efficient and effective surgery on poor and needy patients.
