This week, the PCRF humanitarian projects team in Gaza provided first aid training courses for Jabalia refugee camp kindergarten teachers. The course teaches the trainees how to urgently deal when any of their students who may suffer from an urgent infection or injury, and the process of treating them before transferring them to the nearest medical facility. Thousands of Gaza's children have been injured or killed in the past few years due to bombings and other trauma, and lives can be saved by providing first-aid training to teachers and others who can intervene to save the child before medical personnel arrive.
