This week, a four-member team of volunteers from France have returned to the Gaza Strip to provide hand surgery for injured and needy patients, as well as training for local staff. Led by long-time PCRF volunteer surgeon Prof.

Christophe Oberlin, the team included three others who have been to Palestine and Lebanon’s camps with the PCRF dozens of times to help care for hundreds of patients. They are hand surgeon from the UK Dr. Asan Rafee, anesthesiologist Dr. Christophe Denantes, and OR nurse Paulette Fauché.

PCRF is the main nonprofit in the world sponsoring volunteer medical teams to Gaza to treat children for free.
