Teenage Gaza Girl Arrives in Boston for Medical Treatment

Yesterday, thirteen year old Abrar from the Khan Younis Refugee Camp in South Gaza arrived in Boston, Massachusetts to receive medical care. Abrar has traveled to Boston to undergo reconstructive plastic surgery at Shriners Hospital for Children. Abrar suffers from complications due to severe burns on her face and her hands. During her stay in Boston she will undergo laser treatments and plastic surgery to release the scarred skin on her hands to increase finger mobility. She is generously being hosted by a family in the Boston area. PCRF is grateful for the amazing members of the Boston community who are already hosting another child and for the opportunity to help Abrar, who is such a kindhearted girl, get mobility back in her hands.
