14-year-old Raghd continues to heal after starting her Halo therapy treatment nearly two weeks ago. The Gaza girl was born with a severe back deformity and was unable to get the care she needs to correct her condition in the Gaza Strip. The PCRF arranged her care at Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia, where she will continue the Halo therapy for another 3-4 weeks before undergoing spine surgery. Raghd is under the care of Dr. Ameer Samdani and is being hosted by volunteers in our PCRF Philadelphia chapter, who have cared for dozens of kids in the past.
