This week, 16-year-old Taqwa from The Tubas area of Jenin arrived in Spokane, Washington to start her care in orthopedic surgery. She is being treated at the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children to correct her congenital hip dysplasia. She is being cared for by volunteers in the local community during her stay. The PCRF is the main nonprofit sending children from the Middle East abroad for free care that they cannot get locally.
