There are thousands of people daily in need of emergency services in Hebron the largest city in the West Bank, many from normal daily life and others as a result of living in a town divided by armed forces and settlers among the local Palestinian population. There is one government hospital serving these patients in Hebron - Alia Hospital - where most of the poor and neediest people seek care. As a result of an underdeveloped emergency department, the quality of care falls short of the need. In 2020, PCRF is starting a new infrastructural project to update and renovate the current emergency department with new beds, better equipment and support for the local doctors working there.
