Early this year seventeen-year old Mohammed from the Jabalia Refugee Camp in Gaza arrived to the Cincinnati area after he was shot early last year resulting in an above knee amputation.

Prior to his injury Mohammed was an athlete who enjoyed running and has participated in marathons. Mohammed completed physical therapy in his host home with Spirit Homecare and continued to gain strength with his first ever prosthetic.

During his stay he was generously supported by the PCRF Cincinnati chapter members and the Dayton community.
