This week, a six member team of doctors from North and South America returned the Alia Hospital in the West Bank town of Hebron to provide children maxillofacial surgery. Led by the University of Mexico surgeon Dr. Rafael Ruiz Rodriguez and New Jersey surgeon Dr. Imad Tamimi, and including surgeon Dr. Luis Alvarez Varela, anesthesiologist Dr. Yukiko Ohara, dentist Dr. Yazan Abu Khalaf and nurse anesthetist Mahmoud Salhab, the team have volunteered their time in the past to treat children with facial deformities in Hebron.
