This week, a six-member team of volunteer doctors from all over the world returned to Rafidiah Hospital to provide maxillofacial surgery on needy patients. Led by PCRF Chairman of the Board, Chicago-based Dr. Khaled Abughazaleh, and including returning surgeon from Ecuador Prof. Raul Fernando Sandoval and USA surgeon Dr. Salam Salman, as well as Chicago-based anesthesiologist Dr. Yaser Wafai. The team also included Japanese anesthesiologist Dr. Yukiko Ohara, Chicago dentist Dr. Dhiraj Sharm, and Florida resident in surgery, Dr. Scott Roemer. This mission was done in partnership between PCRF and Smile Train.
