This week, a three-member team of surgeons from North and South American started operating on refugee children in Jordan with cleft lip and palate deformities. Led by the PCRF's Chairman of the Board, Dr. Khaled Abughazaleh, the team included long-time volunteer from Ecuador Prof. Raul Fernando Sandoval and returning surgical volunteer from Mexico, Dr. Raymundo Ramirez. The mission is taking place at Luzmila Hospital in Amman and is co-sponsored with Islamic Relief.
