After two days of surgery at the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, American surgeon Dr. Mark Ray and his team from Tennessee crossed into Gaza to start providing cleft lip and palate repair surgery on children at Al Shifa Hospital. Dr. Ray has lead over a dozen past missions to Palestine with the PCRF. His team included Ramallah based anesthesiologist Dr. Hasan Ismail and OR nurse Terri Caldwell and assistant Cassandra Mellon.
