Sixteen-year-old Taqwa from Tubas began physical therapy sessions earlier this month. She had traveled to Spokane, Washington to receive orthopedic surgery to treat congenital hip dysplasia at Shriners Hospital for Children. The procedure was intended to ease her life-long pain and discomfort. Surgery was successful and Taqwa continues to attend postoperative physical therapy sessions to gain strength. PCRF is thankful for the generous volunteers from the Spokane community who have supported Taqwa during her stay.
