In January PCRF sent teenager Nahil from Tamon village in the West Bank to Southern California with her mother for neurosurgery that could not be provided in Palestine. She had surgery at HOAG Hospital by Dr. Burak Ozgur to correct a congenital spine condition that caused her chronic pain. She completed physical therapy to regain mobility and manage her pain, and she is now making her way back home.
