This week nine-year-old Layan from the West Bank town of Jenin arrived in Louisville, Kentucky to receive neurosurgery. Layan is being treated at Norton Children's Hospital for Apert's Syndrome, which caused congenital anomalies in the development of her skull. This is very exciting for PCRF because Louisville is a brand new chapter and this is their first child for treatment. The PCRF is partnering with "Healing the Children" to treat Layan, and she is currently staying at Ronald McDonald House with her mother during her treatment.
