The urgent food parcel initiative, made possible through the support of the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) and implemented by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, has brought crucial assistance to 5,000 displaced Gazan families. These families, forced from their homes due to the unrelenting 11-day war, have received essential food supplies for their children and families through this vital project. Since the onset of the intense conflict on October 7th, the crossings into the Gaza Strip have remained closed, intensifying the crisis. This dire situation underscores the imminent humanitarian catastrophe, compelling international organizations to mobilize aid efforts and utilize local resources. PCRF teams are working tirelessly, doing everything within our power to provide aid to those affected by this devastating situation.

On Sunday, October 15th, the PCRF provided crucial disposable skin staples for emergency surgeries at Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, located in the central Gaza Strip. The hospital faces a continuous influx of patients, including both the injured and those who have tragically lost their lives due to the unrelenting explosions in Gaza.

In response to the crisis, hundreds of thousands of people have been forced to flee from the northern Gaza Strip to the central and southern regions. Among them is our dedicated social worker, who, along with her family, relocated to the South. She has been tirelessly delivering essential medical aid to hospitals, striving to assist those in urgent need.

PCRF distributed urgent, intensive care, and orthopedic supplies to doctors in the European Gaza hospital in Khan Younis. These supplies were stored in our PCRF dormitory in South Gaza for our medical missions but were released to provide urgent, direct, humanitarian aid for trauma specialists operating on injured children in South Gaza.

The PCRF team provided assistance to Gazan laborers stranded in the West Bank by delivering 330 meals, distributing 150 hygiene kits, and installing two water tanks, each with a capacity of 1,500 liters. These laborers had been relocated to Ramallah after Israel revoked their permits.
