Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Team Returns to Palestine

This week, American pediatric orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Tom Bailey, returned to the Palestine Medical Center (PMC) in Ramallah to continue to train local surgeons as part of the PCRF's Pediatric Orthopedic Education and Training (POET) program. This three-year-old program has trained several young residents at the PMC in pediatric orthopedic and hand surgery. Dr. Bailey, a Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia, has been on several past volunteer missions for the PCRF. He was joined by anesthesiologist Dr. Youssef Oudriss Public Hospital Centre Hospitalier de Seclin in France.
