South African Surgery Team Treats Refugees in Lebanon

This week, plastic surgeon Dr. Saleigh Adam returned to Al Hamshiry Hospital in Saida, Lebanon to provide cleft lip and palate surgery for refugee children who otherwise would not get the care that they need. He was joined on this volunteer surgery mission by nurse Khadija Adam and anesthesiologist Dr. Abdelrahman El Khatib from the UK. The have volunteered on several past missions to Lebanon for the PCRF, and dozens of children have had surgery thanks to their hard work and support.

This mission was done in partnership between PCRF and Smile Train.
