Dr. Samer K. Elbabaa is a Pediatric Neurosurgeon based in Orlando, Florida. He served as the
President of the PCRF Medical Advisory Board (MAB) since 2021 and he has been volunteering
with PCRF since 2008, leading annual neurosurgical missions to Palestine and performing life-
saving surgeries on children. As MAB president, he played a pivotal role in expanding the
medical advisory board to include all medical and surgical specialities/subspecialties with main
focus on improving patient care quality outcomes and education in the Palestinian health
sector.
In addition to his voluntary work, Dr. Elbabaa holds prestigious positions as the Chief of
Pediatric Neurosurgery at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Professor of Neurosurgery at
the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. A graduate of the University of Jordan, he
completed his residency in Neurosurgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
and fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery at The Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Elbabaa also holds senior
leadership and executive board roles in several international professional organizations.
