PCRF is a nonprofit organisation with a mission to provide free medical aid to wounded and ill Palestinian children, envisioning a world where all vulnerable children have access to quality medical care and specialised surgical procedures. It is thanks to the many supporters who choose to lend us a hand every day that we are able to provide urgent care to Palestinian children. 1. Medical Missions: Australian medical teams have played a vital role in delivering specialist care in Gaza and the West Bank.
2. Rehabilitation Of Gaza's Healthcare System (Hospitals and Paediatric Services): We aim to bring children to Australia to receive free medical treatment they cannot get at home, due to ongoing blockades and bombardment.
3. Medical Evacuations and Treatment Abroad: We’re committed to ensuring that every child in need of care gets the best treatment possible. Gaza has no fully functional paediatric tertiary hospital. Hospitals remain damaged, overcrowded, and critically short of NICU and PICU capacity.
4. Medical Equipment and Supplies: We call on our fellow Australian’s to provide PCRF Australia with essential medical supplies and specialised equipment to address the urgent needs faced. Children are suffering from catastrophic injuries and chronic illnesses - sustained while under a brutal occupation. The overarching goal is to reduce the need for referrals of injured and sick patients out of Palestine. We aim to save lives, and foster the development of specialised paediatric services.
