Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF), founded in 1991 by concerned humanitarians in the USA, provides free medical care to thousands of injured and ill children yearly who lack local access to care within the local health care system. Over the years, we've sent over 2,000 affected children abroad for free medical care, sent thousands of international doctors and nurses to provide tens of thousands of children free medical care in local hospitals, and provided tens of thousands of children humanitarian aid and support they otherwise would not get.
PCRF's impact also includes establishing two pediatric cancer departments in Palestine, a new PICU and pediatric cardiology department in Ramallah, and many more critical projects to sustainably bolster the region's healthcare system. Our foundation relies on grassroots efforts, supported by a worldwide network of thousands of volunteers, to fulfill our humanitarian mission. PCRF Australia is a volunteer based nonprofit organisation, which operates as an autonomous chapter in full compliance with Australian law, while maintaining the ethos of Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) established in the United States in 1992.
PCRF Australia has begun its operation in 2025 with a commitment to providing medical aid to wounded and ill Palestinian children. We are independent of any political or religious affiliations, our primary objective is to act as the upholder of the universal right to care and health of children in West Asia and beyond.
We are growing our network of Australian medical professionals, who contribute their professional expertise and guidance to our cause domestically, as well as volunteer to partake in medical missions abroad, which are coordinated with the support of PCRF Global team and its regional partners in the West Bank, Jordan Lebanon and Egypt. Our work includes organising fundraising events to raise funds for the public health sector in Palestine, medical missions and other initiatives, as well as to encourage community engagement and spread awareness of the ongoing healthcare crisis.
PCRF Australia is dedicated to PCRF Global efforts to ensure Palestinian children have access to free quality healthcare services.
Our key initiatives include:
