General
When you opt in to the service, we will send you a message to confirm your signup. By confirming your wish to opt into SMS or text messages, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and information (outlined below) messages from PCRF at the mobile telephone number you provided when signing up or any other number that you designate. Messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system.
Your usual message and data rates may apply. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your mobile provider.
Your consent to receive marketing and informational messages is not a condition of purchase, donation, volunteer participation, event registration, or use of PCRF’s website.
We make all reasonable efforts to comply with the United States Telephone Consumer Protection Act requirements, as well as comparable state law requirements. Should you have any concerns, please contact us by the means identified below.
Opt-In and Consent
You may opt in to PCRF messaging by providing your mobile telephone number through an authorized PCRF signup form, website form, campaign page, event form, or other consent process made available by PCRF.
Email consent is separate from SMS/text messaging consent. Providing an email address, making a donation, registering for an event, volunteering, or otherwise interacting with PCRF does not automatically enroll you in SMS/text messaging.
By opting in, you confirm that you are the subscriber to the mobile number provided, or that you are authorized to consent to receive messages at that number.
Types of Messages
PCRF messages may include marketing, fundraising, transactional, informational, campaign, event, volunteer, donation, and organizational updates. Messages may relate to PCRF’s work, programs, campaigns, donation opportunities, events, volunteer opportunities, or other PCRF communications.
Lawyer review note: PCRF does not currently send transactional messages to donors.
Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary. Additional mobile messages may be sent periodically based on your interaction with PCRF, PCRF campaigns, and PCRF communication needs. PCRF reserves the right to alter the frequency of messages sent at any time to increase or decrease the total number of sent messages. PCRF also reserves the right to change the short code, phone number, or alphanumeric sender where messages are sent.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply to any messages sent to you from PCRF and to PCRF from you. If you have questions about your text plan or data plan, please contact your mobile provider.
Carriers
Your mobile provider is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Cancellation
Messages will provide instructions to unsubscribe either by texting STOP or through an included link. After you unsubscribe, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed and no more messages will be sent. If you would like to receive messages from PCRF again, just sign up as you did the first time and PCRF will start sending messages to you again.
Help and Support
For support regarding our services, email us at [email protected] or, if supported, text “HELP” to our messages at any time and we will respond with instructions on how to unsubscribe. If we include a link in messages we send you from PCRF, you may also access instructions on how to unsubscribe by following that link.
Transfer of Number
You agree that before changing your mobile number or transferring your mobile number to another individual, you will either reply “STOP” from the original number, unsubscribe using the link included in our messages if one is provided, or notify us of your old number at [email protected].
The duty to inform us based on the above events is a condition of using this service to receive messages.
Privacy
PCRF may collect and use information related to its messaging program, including your mobile phone number, SMS/text message opt-in status, consent records, message interaction data, unsubscribe requests, and related communications records, to send, manage, support, and document PCRF messaging.
PCRF may use third-party service providers to support messaging, communications, consent management, analytics, and related operational needs. These service providers may process information on PCRF’s behalf in connection with the messaging program.

Changes to the Messaging Terms & Conditions
The date the Messaging Terms & Conditions was last revised is identified at the top of this page. We may revise and update these Messaging Terms and Conditions from time to time in our sole discretion. It is our policy to post any changes we make to our Messaging Terms & Conditions on this page. All changes are effective immediately when we post them. However, any changes to the dispute resolution provisions set out in Governing Law and Jurisdiction in the Terms of Use Policy, incorporated herein by reference, will not apply to any disputes for which the parties have actual notice on or before the date the change is posted on the Website.
We reserve the right to change or terminate our messaging program at any time in our sole discretion.
If you do not agree to a change to these Messaging Terms & Conditions, you should cancel your enrollment with our messaging program. Your continued enrollment following such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
Entire Agreement
The Terms of Use (www.pcrf.net/terms) and Privacy Policy (www.pcrf.net/privacy-policy) are incorporated as if set forth fully herein. The Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Messaging Terms & Conditions (https://www.pcrf.net/messaging-terms), where applicable, constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and PCRF. They supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral.
